Hi There, I'm Kathy from Dragonfly Dew

  • DragonflyDew

Hi, I'm Kathy & I've lived in Colorado's Pikes Peak area for more than 10 years. I am a nature advocate, garden coach and designer. I write about gardening for nature & wildlife gardening. and love helping people learn about gardens & the environment. I'm also a master gardener in Douglas County where I volunteer for many hours each year. I compost, recycle, and research alternatives to commercial products. Nature is my guiding light and being outside among the plants is where I feel most at peace.

I grow veggies, herbs, and perennials, start plants from seeds, garden organically and help others to make the leap from synthetics to organic. I use plant based oils, butters and waxes to make body products. Although I've only been making body and skincare products for a little over 2 years, I've been studying and using essential oils and herbs for many more. Mother Nature's generosity gives us so many plants to use for our benefit, and learning about them is an ongoing but wonderful process.

Dragonfly Dew is my way of creating products that are good for people as well as taking care of the earth. My Poppy Swap storefront is slowly being seeded with my products, I hope that you all will watch it grow and help me celebrate it's transformation. I'm so ready to learn much more from all the wonderful herbalists at Poppy Swap and think this is an amazing community! Thank you kiki for opening your arms and heart to create this place.

Pleased to meet you!  I have considered joining the Master Gardeners here in NC, but have not had the time to dedicate.  In the interim, I'm trying to learn as much as I can on my own!

I am now a follower of your blog, it looks like a nice place. :)
