Herbalicious

Hello! My name is Kelly Ann Atterberry and I am joining the Poppy Swap team. I am a graduate from Bastyr University’s Bachelor’s of Science with a major in Herbal Science. So, I am an “herbie” who is here to build up community with an awareness of herbalists, natural products, and natural health care, to teach others and to learn! My next major opportunity to learn and teach is coming up at the NW Herb Fair near Mt. Vernon, Washington. I will be leading an herb walk at the fair to cover the identification of wild plants in the woodlands, and talk of their medicinal properties and of their Ethnobotanical uses. As a woman who is very connected to her hometown of Anacortes, Washington-I have a strong connection to the plants in the Pacific Northwest, naturally. Therefore, I am really excited to lead a walk through the woods! Come along and join the fun!
