I enjoyed reading your newsletter, Ananda, thank you! Coconut oil is a mainstay in our kitchen, along with olive oil. We use it in cooking, for massage oil & in making herbal salves. Look for the raw, unrefined organic coconut oil for best quality. In Eugene it is packaged by Hummingbird Wholesale and sold there and at natural food stores in the area.

Ananda, I really like this general statement you made, allow me to quote from your newsletter? "Herbalism is about using our senses, trying things out, and becoming an active participant in our plant ways." A simple truth and a good invitation to join in the process of discovery...

Thanks for joining us on the forum!
