I think Azul will be opening his store in early May. It will be his alone and I will be a vendor for any dried herb products he sells. I'll supply the herbs for his business and he will do the actual selling/shipping from his Poppy Swap Store. I'll be working at the farmers market, and selling herbal sachets and pillows to local craft stores. I will continue with our blog. I hope Azul's business will be successful, and wish him the best. Ola Botanicals began as a fundraiser to send my daughter to Europe, based on this educational background, and has since become a growing family business.  My life partner Nick, and daughters Haily and Savannah, are my biggest supporters. Although I was raised in a home where holistic health and whole food nutrition were fundamental components of everyday life, it wasn't until I began studying botany that I fell in love with herbalism.  In my exploration of plant medicine I have been exposed to many forms of herbal and holistic healing from around the world; in particular Ola Botanicals seeks to blend Ayurvedic principles and plant medicine from many different cultures. She would sometimes make a compress and use it that way, or as a tea. It's one of the plants that definitely rescued me many times and also opened my heart up to this journey.
